Dr Charles Jackson
Professor Charles Jackson has been responsible for the design and interpretation of the Surveys that form the basis for much of the thinking behind the work of Career Innovation, including the original ‘Riding the Wave’ research. Dr Jackson advised on the creation of the Ci online career tools and continues to advise based on his wide experience of researching careers.
Dr Jackson has studied the careers of doctors, teachers, actors and many other professions. Alongside his work with Ci he is Director of the Centre for Stakeholding and Sustainable Enterprise and a Visiting Professor at Kingston University Business School. He is also a Fellow of the National Institute for Careers Education and Counselling and has been lead author of reports by CRAC/IES on the future of careers.
He has taught at the University of Wales where he was Director of Postgraduate Studies in Psychology, and has been an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota. His book ‘Understanding Psychological Testing’ was published by the British Psychological Society in 1996.
