Careers of Tomorrow

Humanising work in the age of automation

As we launched our latest research and celebrated 21 years of The Career Innovation Company, we brought together old and new collaborators to make sense of the latest trends facing organisations, employees and society.

In partnership with the Law Society and kindly hosted by Taylor Wessing, we invited a diverse group of innovative thinkers and career strategists to share and gain insights into these questions:

  • In the AI-powered gig economy, what will be the shape of a typical working life?
  • How do employers in particular need to respond?

Speakers included: Allen & Overy, Capgemini, Coty, Govia, Taylor Wessing and the Law Society.

We explored three global trends shaping tomorrow’s careers. Our latest research asked organisations how these trends are currently impacting them, and how they are responding:

1. Automation and AI
2. Gig Economy Working Practices
3. Diverse Talent Pools – their value and necessity
