Worrying impacts the workplace

Employers are realising that their staff need support with their financial education, particularly around pensions planning. It’s in their best interests, as money worries have an impact on productivity. Financial wellbeing is just as important as physical and mental wellbeing.

That kind of support isn’t to suppress negative emotions. It can be detrimental to show only positive emotions at work.  “A workplace that helps people work with their experiences is going to be more effective”.  Emotions give us useful data about our values, preventable mistakes, and learning.

Vulnerability is a leadership skill, not a weakness.
