There are a multitude of Artificial Intelligence techniques. To realise AI’s full potential these require investment in the ‘first mile’ – acquiring and organising data – and the ‘last mile’ – integrating AI output into everyday work.
But AI is only as effective as the human who works with it. Just adding AI tools does not automatically increase productivity if the people using them can’t use the technology effectively.
Indeed, AI is only as ethical as its developers. Human bias can creep in.
