The UK ‘Brexit’ has reinforced the need for organisations to be agile in the face of change. But the need for resilience is a longer-term trend. In this virtual roundtable we discussed the market transformations that demand new ways of managing people and their careers.

Some organisations are responding by hollowing out middle management, rewarding experts, and creating agile, self-managed teams to serve customers better. Famous examples include WL Gore, Zappos and Netflix.

What market changes are impacting your organisation? In this roundtable, we were able to share this, and we debated what it would take to ‘hack the career’ in in our organisations: ‘we want people to jump at the opportunity to do new things’.
