Get moving for physical and emotional health

Despite limited evidence for osteopathy, some advice is common sense. Osteopath Matt Langford writes: “Our bodies have evolved to function with movement… We need an optimal balance between static thinking time and the physical actions our body requires for health to flourish”.

More employers are encouraging people to exercise, sit-stand desks (and even treadmill desks) are gaining popularity. Movement in nature can also aid our learning and growth. Physical challenges provided in nature call for complete bodily and emotional involvement, and may lead to new insights.
