Pre-suasion leads to persuasion

Your big idea isn’t going to sell itself. To persuade, you need to think first about the seller and the buyer, as well as the message. Even more importantly, you need to ‘win over the elephant’ – the emotional side. Pre-suasion can help: getting them in a good mood first. This “enhances problem solving and decision making, leading to cognitive processing that is not only flexible, innovative, and creative, but also thorough and efficient.”
